Whether you line up with friends for fresh morning corduroy or meet up with your crew to tour a favorite backcountry spot, the new Tor™ Spherical helmet lays down the perfect blend of fit, protection, temperature control, and styling. For the highest levels of protection, the Tor features Spherical Technology™, powered by Mips®, which reduces rotational energy during certain impacts through our unique two-part construction. For managing all weather conditions, we integrate our adjustable Thermostat Control to give you the power to regulate your temp.
Armed with our InForm 2 Fit System, a Fidlock magnetic buckle and breathable Wikpro Grid Fleece,
the Tor lets you quickly dial in your fit and comfort.
- IN FORM 2 FIT SYSTEM — The In Form 2 Fit System is lighter and lower-profile than the original, and easier to dial in a custom fit in seconds — even with gloves on. An improved dial design provides up to 6cm of adjustment plus enhanced stability.
- FIDLOCK® MAGNETIC BUCKLE CLOSURE — The pinch-free one-handed Fidlock® magnetic snap helmet buckle combines the advantages of two fastening concepts in a completely new way: Strong magnets make it easy to open and close, while a secure snap functionality ensures a continuous locking force.
- THERMOSTAT CONTROL — Thermostat Control Adjustable Venting allows you to custom-tune airflow instantly with a simple, low profile control button on the outside of the helmet. No other system is faster or easier to adjust, and nothing is more effective at keeping you comfortable.
- HYBRID CONSTRUCTION — Hybrid Construction merges a durable ventilated Hard Shell upper with an In-Mold Construction lower shell plus sidewalls for added protection and style. With Hybrid Construction the helmet is beefed up for added durability while remaining lightweight. Hybrid Construction also features an impact-absorbing and lightweight EPS foam liner.

Fidlock Magnetic Buckle Closure
Giro helmets are engineered with our proprietary Wind Tunnel venting system. This elaborate design combines active vents in the helmet’s shell with exhaust channels inside the helmet that thrust cool, fresh air over and around the rider’s head while forcing heat and stale air out.
Thermostat Control

Spherical Technology
Spherical Technology's ball-and-socket design, powered by Mips®, helps redirect impact forces away from the brain by allowing the outer liner to rotate around the inner liner during a crash. It also eliminates contact with hard plastic or slip-planes against the skin.
MIPS® Brain Protection System
All Giro helmets are designed to reduce as much energy as possible while meeting and exceeding stringent safety standards. The goal of Giro's Mips-equipped helmets is to reduce rotational forces. Giro believes that helmets equipped with this technology can reduce the amount of rotational force that may be transferred to rider's brain in certain impacts.

How to measure your size – Wrap a measuring tape around your head, keeping the tape level from front to back. Note the measurement and reference the Size Guide. Note: Make sure the helmet fits with a little room when the fit system is loose, and sits low enough to protect your forehead without hindering your vision. Once you’ve got the right size, you can adjust the fit.
