MEASURING YOUR HAND FOR THE BEST FIT
You can measure the length and width of your hand as illustrated above, and use the Size Guide to determine your size.
1. Wrap the tape measure around your hand at the widest part of the palm, and lightly close your hand before taking the measurement. This is your Hand Width measurement.
2. Once you have that measurement recorded, use a tape measure to determine the length of your hand from the tip of your longest finger to the base of your palm at the wrist. This is your Hand Length measurement.
3. You can then compare the measurements of your hand with the data supplied in the Size Guide to determine the best fitting size for you.

HOW D3O® IMPACT ADDITIVE WORKS
Giro has partnered with D3O®, a leader in protective materials, and the Gnar is the first cycling glove to use their Impact Additive TPR solution.
D3O® materials are based on non-Newtonian principles. This means that they are soft and flexible in their resting state, but stiffen under an impact to disperse the energy of the force across the surface area of the product.

Great glove . Good air flow . Small fit for a medium imo hoping the break in more . But great glove . Hard to pick nose with gloves on compared to other brands

The one piece guard over
The one piece guard over the knuckles is super uncomfortable. I took them off halfway into my first ride with them and have not worn them since.

Too small. Knuckle pain.
I bought the Gnar in size large, as I use other Giro gloves in that size. But these are too small, the fingers are not long enough. Also I get the same knuckle pain as the other reviewers. So sadly I cannot use the pair I bought. I tried getting them wet and riding with them to expand them but that does not work.

I've always had good luck with Giro gloves. Fit and durability have been consistent until I got the Gnar glove.
Velcro wrist wasn't strong enough, initial fit off the bike felt a little weird and within 10 minutes of a ride the
knuckle skin of my ring finger was getting rubbed off while holding the handlebar. Sounds like a consistent problem based
on other reviews.

Beware! Terrible Knuckle Pain!
Exactly the same issues as the other reviewer. Within an hour or so of wearing these gloves, my knuckles started getting irritated by that material and knuckle protection. It got worse and worse until it was actually painful. And went away as soon as I took off the gloves (and rode bare-handed). I hope Giro will exchange these gloves. I previously wore Giro Xen gloves and those were great.
