Warranty Claim Form

  1. You must have a web order # to submit a return claim. This # can be found on your email confirmation receipt when you made a purchase and on the printed receipt that came in your shipment.
  2. *Please note: Giro does not accept PayPal receipts as proof of purchase. Please hold on to your receipt for further instructions in your return e-mail.
  3. When you submit this request, a Giro Warranty Representative will notify you of your return authorization number by e-mail within 3 business days.

THE GIRO WARRANTY


To make a warranty claim, fill out the form to the left and we will be in contact on how to properly mail your Giro product back to us. This warranty extends to residents of the United States only. For further information, call us at 1-800-456-2355.

To make a claim, send us the product with your letter, proof of purchase and contact information.

We encourage you to send your product to us by a traceable method (such as FedEx or LIPS). Giro is not responsible for lost or misdirected packages.

Giro Bike:
If your Giro bike helmet, footwear, gloves, socks or apparel are found to be defective in materials or workmanship, Giro warrants these pieces for one-year from date of purchase, and we will, at our sole option, either repair or replace your product free of charge.

Giro Snow:
If your Giro snow helmet or goggle is found to be defective in materials or workmanship, Giro warrants your helmet or goggle for the lifetime of the product, and we will, at our sole option, either repair or replace your product free of charge.

Substitution / Discontinued Models:
If your exact product is not currently available (i.e. discontinued), please choose a new one and indicate the substitution model in your letter. In the case where your style is no longer available, choose a new style and color with equal or less retail value than the style you are returning. Your helmet’s style name can be found under the padding that covers the inside of the helmet.

Scope and Duration of the Warranty:
Giro warrants to the original purchaser of this product that the product is free of defects in material and workmanship for the duration stated above, except to the extent prohibited by applicable law. This warranty does not apply to product damage due to heat, defects or physical damage resulting from abuse, neglect, improper repair, improper fit, alterations, or use unintended by the manufacturer. This warranty is in lieu of all other agreements and warranties, general or special, express or implied and no representative or person is authorized to assume liability on behalf of Giro in connection with the sale or use of this product. This warranty program covers all parts of your Giro product and applies to all types of defects or failure, except for loss.
