Leading the charge of riders who want to share their ride, Giro has introduced the new Edit™ helmet. Featuring an optimized, integrated camera mount designed to work with industry leader GoPro®, the Edit™ is a lightweight, fully featured helmet that eliminates the need for straps or adhesives if riders want to capture their action. The Edit™ will be available in August 2013 for US retail $170.
“The Edit™is firmly linked to our DNA as the sport design company,” said Giro Vice President Greg Shapleigh. “The easy-to-use, optimized camera mount epitomizes the elegance of purpose that defines Giro products, while the low weight enhances the ride experience by eliminating the distraction of a heavier helmet.”
The Giro Edit™ features an optimized, integrated GoPro® mount, active venting and a precision tunable fit, all in a super clean, low-profile design. The GoPro® mount is designed to enable multiple points of view and is removable for riders who choose not to run a camera. At 380 grams, the Edit™ is Giro’s lightest, fully featured helmet ever.
