Cycling Helmet Warranty
If your Giro helmet is found to be defective in materials or workmanship, Giro warrants your helmet for one year from date of purchase, and we will, at our sole option, either repair or replace your product free of charge. You must return your Giro product to Giro, as described below with a letter indicating the specific reason you’re returning the product and proof of purchase.
To make a claim, send us the product with your letter, proof of purchase and contact information.
- We encourage you to send your product to us by a traceable method (such as FedEx or UPS). Giro is not responsible for lost or misdirected packages.
- We will return your product using ground UPS shipping. Overnight shipping options are available.

Substitution / Discontinued Models: If your exact product is not currently available (i.e. discontinued), please choose a new one and indicate the substitution model in your letter. In the case where your style is no longer available, choose a new style and color with equal or less retail value than the style you are returning. Your helmet’s style name can be found under the padding that covers the inside of the helmet.
Scope and Duration of the Warranty: This warranty program lasts for one year from date of purchase. This warranty program covers all parts of your Giro helmet and applies to all types of defects or failure, except for loss.
What do the lawyers have to say? Giro warrants to the original purchaser of this product that the product is free of defects in material and workmanship for the lifetime of the product, except to the extent prohibited by applicable law. This warranty does not apply to product damage due to heat, defects or physical damage resulting from abuse, neglect, improper repair, improper fit, alterations, or use unintended by the manufacturer. This warranty is in lieu of all other agreements and warranties, general or special, express or implied and no representative or person is authorized to assume liability on behalf of Giro in connection with the sale or use of this product.
