The Giro Snow Team is Stacked for 2016

It’s a new year and it’s dumping snow (in our part of the world, at least) and we’re fired up for the season. This year the Giro Snow team is truly more powerful than ever before. From the X Games to the Freeride World Tour, from veteran professionals to fresh faces, we have what we believe is the strongest team on snow. Please join us in welcoming six incredible new riders to the team.

Gabe is a 16 year old American halfpipe snowboarder and an exciting new addition to the Giro team. Competing in his first X-Games ever in 2015 Gabe is poised to become one of the best halfpipe snowboarders in the world over the course of the next few years and is aiming for a spot on the US team for the next Olympics in South Korea. Gabe rides the Giro Ledge helmet as well as the Blok and Contact goggle.
Smoothy is a contender in every event he enters. A veteran on the FWT who won the Andorra event in 2015, Smoothy is looking to be a major player in the 2015/16 season. Sam also does some serious backcountry skiing landing himself on the December 2015 Freeskier cover. Sam rides the Giro Range MIPS helmet as well as the Contact and Blok goggle.
Cassie is a 23 year old Canadian halfpipe skier who is relatively new to the International contest scene. She had a breakout year in 2015 winning the SFR Tour stop in Tignes France going bigger than just about any female halfpipe skier in history. She started out the 2015/16 season with a bang taking 2nd at the Breckenridge Dew Tour in December. Keep an eye on her to be on a lot of podiums in the seasons to come. Cassie rides the Giro Combyn helmet and Dylan goggle.
In George’s rookie season on the Freeride World Tour in 2015 he won multiple stops and went on to win the overall title. He brings a new school style and bag of tricks and will have all eyes on him as they drop at stop #1 this January in Andorra. George rides the Giro Range MIPS helmet and Contact goggle.
Torin is a special kind of skier, the only once in a generation type. At the young age of 20 he has already accomplished what many cannot achieve in a career. He is the youngest Winter X-Games medalist in history and his gone on to podium at just about every event he has entered over the past five years. Struggling with some injuries and health issues over the past year he is looking to come back strong in 2016. He also starred in his first full ski movie segment this past fall. Torin rides the Giro Ledge helmet and Blok goggle.
Brita is a 25 year old American halfpipe skier who is no stranger to the podium. She has been on the X-Games podium four out of the last five years, and started off the 2015/16 season with a 3rd place finish at the Breckenridge Dew Tour. She is known for super technical runs with lots of switch variations. Brita rides the Giro Combyn helmet and Dylan goggle.
